Clubs NSW 2007 Finalist for Outstanding Financial Management Award
The Bowlers' Club of NSW was established in 1958 and was granted a provisional liquor licence in the same year. The Bowlers Club was originally located at the northern end of Clarence Street and relocated to its current York Street premises in 1971. The club was not incorporated until 1972, with the first Annual General Meeting held in
1973. The club has had many renovations since 2001, the most recent of these being extensions to its York Street boundary, as well as a complete internal refurbishment.
Proudly supporting many community groups and chartities, the Bowlers’ Club regularly donates to CareFlight, the Ted Noffs Association, Home for the Aged, Youth off the Street and Bear Cottage to name a few.
